In the spot "Trace Your Road" for the new IS Hybrid, Lexus invited some of its Facebook fans to participate in an augmented reality video game with former Formula One driver Jarno Trulli. The fans were brought to a hangar, handed a tablet device in the passenger seat of an IS Hybrid, and were told to trace any path they wanted onto the screen. Whatever they drew was projected onto the floor of the hangar, and Trulli had to race the IS Hybrid along the path as his passenger continued to draw. The resulting effect is part light show and part adrenaline boost. The spot, created by Saatchi & Saatchi Italy, enters our weekly list of the top 10 auto viral videos at No. 3, with 651,168 views.
Also new this week is Mercedes-Benz's S-Class Coupe spot ranked fourth by Visible Measures with 452,961 views; and Audi's "The Station," ranked eighth with 272,723 views.
