Two of our new entries in this week's auto viral videos take major breaks from reality with anthropomorphic hamsters and factory-made humans.
Kia's "Totally Transformed" campaign brings celebrity hamsters to the gym, getting fit to Lady Gaga's latest single and ending inexplicably with the hamsters arriving at a red carpet event in a 2014 Kia Soul. The spot, named 'Applause' and created by David&Goliath Los Angeles, aired during MTV's Video Music Awards just after Lady Gaga's first-ever live performance of the single. The spot enters our weekly list of the top 10 auto viral videos at No. 3, with 683,636 views.
Infiniti's "Factory of Life" takes us to a dystopian world where humans are manufactured on an assembly line. The hero of the spot, created by TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, breaks out of the factory of conformity when he discovers the keys to a Infiniti Q50 in his pocket. The spot enters our weekly list of the top 10 auto viral videos at No. 5, with 382,877 views.
Also new this week is Renault's "Speed Dating," ranked 7th by Visible Measures, with 255,852 views.
