Magical. That's how one enthusiastic student describes driving the concept car he and his classmates at Clemson University built for Mazda. The students were tasked with engineering a sporty, high-mileage vehicle with plenty of cargo space for young buyers. As a result, the young men and women took an unconventional approach in developing the hybrid, which features a rare manual transmission. As you'll hear, the engineering team and its designer expect to see the car – or at least some components of it – on the road someday.
