It's the inaugural week for our look at auto brand videos and their viral reach, and Audi made a bold -- and top-ranked -- campaign entrance piggybacking on the opening of a Hollywood blockbuster.
Audi's video starring the old Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and the new Spock (Zachary Quinto) launched ahead of the opening this week of "Star Trek: Into Darkness" -- even though the movie officially has a tie-in with Mazda. The video came in at No. 1 with more than 5 million views this week.
Other videos that made the list have been around for a while, but of special note is Volkswagen's commercial, "The Force," which came in at No. 8 with more than 90,000 views this week, two years and three months after its debut during the 2011 Super Bowl.
