The king has been dethroned.

Volkswagen’s “The Force,” the 2011 Super Bowl ad that took the top spot on our All Time viral video rankings for the last three years, no longer reigns supreme.

The new No. 1: Kia’s “Kia X-Car.”

The campaign is a mashup between X-Men and Kia’s sponsorship of the 2016 Australian Open. The premise is that tennis star Rafael Nadel’s right arm is unnaturally super strong, one might even say mutant. The featured spot then devolves into a series of clips from the rebooted X-Men films with shots of the Kia Sportage transforming from one frame to the next. It’s a chaotic flash sequence of seemingly disconnected clips – which, apparently, is just what the internet demands.

The spot shot to the top with 97,567,413 views.

As for Volkswagen, don’t cry too many tears. “The Force” is still comfortable at No. 2 with 89,526,311 views.
