• The Syracuse (N.Y.) Auto Dealers Association, sponsor of Syracuse AutoExpo in February, raised more than $250,000 for area charities by selling more than 1,800 tickets to the show's charity preview. A committee of dealers headed by Jim Barr of Crest Cadillac-Acura raised $115,000 to underwrite the cost of the party so it could provide all of the ticket proceeds to the charities.
