Automakers rolled out some high-profile vehicles during the Geneva auto show press days, but they also explored new variations on existing vehicles and platforms.


The Opel Adam Rocks concept, a variant of the new minicar from GM's German subsidiary, has a fold-back canvas roof a la the Fiat 500.


GM's Opel/Vauxhall Cascada, built on the Delta platform housing the Buick Verano and Chevrolet Cruze, will offer European buyers an affordable two-door, four-seat convertible.


The Qoros 3 Cross Hybrid Concept hints at a crossover to join the sedan the Chinese automaker will begin selling in Europe and China this year.


Subaru's Viziv concept plumbed design possibilities for a four-seat crossover with a diesel plug-in hybrid drivetrain.
