The writer is a Lincoln dealer.

To the Editor:

Lincoln should have given the Super Bowl commercial money to its stand-alone dealers so they could survive until Jim Farley gets his act together.

Big delay with the MKZ, and we got only $4,500 for delay assistance money -- wow!

Farley should give some of his signing bonus to the Lincoln dealers ("Move to Ford meant big payday for Jim Farley," Feb. 25).

Farley needs to put his money in a Lincoln dealership to show good faith and belief in the brand.

The $4,500 MKZ assistance money for the launch delay was priceless. We sold one new MKZ and had three customers cancel their orders because of the delay. Great launch.
