To the Editor:

Regarding "The cold facts about Tesla," autonews.com, Feb. 12:

I own a Fisker and have never had a problem with the car, even in cold weather.

In fact, until I read the article about the Tesla in The New York Times, I did not know electric cars might do poorly in cold weather.

I have driven my Fisker in cold and snowy weather from New York City to Ithaca, N.Y., and all around New England without a problem.

I would not recommend driving it in the snow as the tires are not made for that kind of driving.

However, cold weather did not seem to make a difference.
