Dealers give back again and again

To the Editor:
Congratulations on your "Dealers of Distinction" section (Feb. 4).
In my opinion, auto dealers never get the credit or thanks they deserve for the incredible work they consistently do in their communities.
They put their time, effort and dollars into making their communities better places and making life better for kids as well as for adults who may need help.
It's happening constantly, often quietly.
Auto dealers are not just about making money as many critics would have you believe. They're also about giving it back again and again and improving the quality of life in their communities.
I'm happy to see Automotive News shining a spotlight on at least a few of them.
