"God Made a Farmer," Ram's 2-minute Super Bowl commercial, warmed the hearts of viewers, got high marks from critics and racked up millions of views on the Internet after the game.

No big surprise, and a bit of deja vu: A remarkably similar YouTube video posted last summer by farms.com also had a big impact -- 1 million views since it was posted in June.

The earlier video used the same 1978 recording by radio commentator Paul Harvey to extol the virtues of America's farmers. But instead of the photographs used in the Ram spot, snapped by 10 prominent photographers, Chrysler says -- the farms.com video used amateur, sometimes fuzzy shots of farmers and their families at work and play.

There were no hard feelings at farms.com, which last week replaced the original video on its Web site with the Ram version.

A Chrysler spokeswoman said Ram approached farms.com, which was "very supportive" of the Super Bowl spot.

The two organizations are partners in the Year of the Farmer campaign that aims to generate $1 million for the National FFA Organization, formerly known as Future Farmers of America.
