Kenneth Merrill


DETROIT -- Kenneth Merrill, a former Ford Motor Co. executive, died Jan. 22 in Livonia, Mich. He was 82.

Merrill began his 35-year career at Ford in 1956 as an analyst at the automaker's world headquarters. He held various positions in finance, including controller of North American automotive operations and executive director of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions. Merrill retired as president of Ford Motor Credit Co. in 1991.

His son Barry Merrill owns Grand Ledge Ford-Lincoln in Grand Ledge, Mich.
