To the Editor:

Great article on the debacle about to occur in Georgia regarding leasing ("Auto lenders decry Georgia's tax hike on leases," autonews.com, Jan. 9)

It should stir up a lot of interest. From the dealers I've spoken with, it seems there is little knowledge of this issue.

Also, I don't think the Legislature realizes that if leasing diminishes or goes away entirely there will be an adverse effect on state revenues. It is a lose-lose for all concerned.
