Relaxing & Re-energizing
Selling cars is plenty of work, and some play. Here are ways some stores bring employees closer together.

Gaining an edge with a wedge
Scott Casebeer, owner of Capitol Auto Group in Salem, Ore., anchored a floating golf green in a pond that dominates the 25-acre landscape surrounding his Chevrolet-Cadillac, Toyota-Scion and Subaru stores. Then he bought 6,000 floating golf balls and invited customers and employees to swing away.

What an employee kneads
At Crevier BMW in Santa Ana, Calif., keeping employees healthy and happy is a top priority. Every Friday a massage therapist drops by to give employees 15-minute rubdowns.

Building camaraderie
On a Saturday morning in May, employees of DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring, Md., found themselves leaping over fire pits, scaling walls and belly crawling through mud. They were participating in an extreme obstacle competition, named Warrior Dash, as a bonding exercise.
