Gaining an edge with a wedge


Scott Casebeer, owner of Capitol Auto Group in Salem, Ore., anchored a floating golf green in a pond that dominates the 25-acre landscape surrounding his Chevrolet-Cadillac, Toyota-Scion and Subaru stores. Then he bought 6,000 floating golf balls and invited customers and employees to swing away.


What an employee kneads


At Crevier BMW in Santa Ana, Calif., keeping employees healthy and happy is a top priority. Every Friday a massage therapist drops by to give employees 15-minute rubdowns.


Building camaraderie


On a Saturday morning in May, employees of DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring, Md., found themselves leaping over fire pits, scaling walls and belly crawling through mud. They were participating in an extreme obstacle competition, named Warrior Dash, as a bonding exercise.
