Audi of America's Keogh to speak at World Congress

DETROIT -- Scott Keogh, president of Audi of America, will be a featured speaker on Jan. 16, the second day of the Automotive News World Congress.
Keogh, 43, was named president in June.
He had been chief marketing officer since 2006, responsible for reshaping Audi's message as well as overseeing product planning and launches.
As chief marketing officer, he led the brand's efforts to reposition its diesel engines and reintroduce the RS line of performance vehicles.
Audi recently reported an annual U.S. sales record for the fourth straight year with 124,469 new-vehicle sales through November.
Last year in the United States, Audi sold a full-year record 117,561 vehicles.
The theme of the 2013 Automotive News World Congress is "Driving Change: Global Uncertainties/Local Opportunities."
The event will be held Jan. 15-17 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center during media preview week at the North American International Auto Show. c
