Dealer Bob Rohrman: 'Never give up'
December 10, 2012 - 12:01 am ETU.S. Army veteran Bob Rohrman started selling cars in 1955 and says his career, if anything, is 'speeding up.' With more than 19,000 new retail sales in 2011, Rohrman's auto group ranks No. 18 on Automotive News' list of the Top 125 Dealership Groups. Rohrman is building a sprawling Lexus store in suburban Chicago and a new Nissan dealership in Wisconsin while pursuing a General Motors franchise. Known for his 'crazy' TV ads, Rohrman has become a celebrity throughout Indiana and Illinois. And pleasing customers is so important to Rohrman, he established a university to teach employees how to take care of clients.
