Rally car driver Ken Block's outlandish stunts behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta RS have become YouTube sensations. And he's got a way with words, too.

Block demonstrated his skills last week at Ford's Los Angeles Auto Show press conference introducing the 2014 Fiesta. He performed a series of donuts to the delight of journalists seated in bleachers outside the L.A. Convention Center.

When the tire smoke died down and Block emerged from the car, Ford's global marketing chief, Jim Farley, asked him to describe what it had been like driving his souped-up Fiesta on the San Francisco Bay Bridge and around the city in last summer's "Gymkhana Five" video. The video became a viral phenomenon with more than 5 million views on YouTube in 24 hours.

Block searched for words to describe the experience of realizing he had the Bay Bridge to himself and came up with the following: "It was like a zombie apocalypse."

Farley, not usually at a loss for words himself, seemed puzzled: "Ken, I'm not sure what a zombie apocalypse is."
