Look. Don't touch. That's the law at most museums. But the folks at the BMW Museum in Munich realize that caressing an auto's lines is a joyful part of auto appreciation.

So last Friday, the museum had planned to allow visitors to touch the vintage BMWs on display.

But there was a catch. Visitors had to don white gloves first.
