Ford's Mulally: 'We're not going to back off' on tech
November 12, 2012 - 12:01 am ET Alan Mulally says the automaker's MyFord Touch infotainment system is still a reason to buy a Ford. One of his main tasks in his final years as CEO will be to continuously improve the much-criticized technology. Mulally also must make Lincoln relevant again. The 67-year-old chief says “very satisfying, long-term“ relationships with Lincoln customers will be the cornerstone to reinventing the luxury brand. And he outlined the role he will play as he hands off responsibility to newly appointed COO Mark Fields.
