Behind a Texas store's rise to No. 1 workplace
October 29, 2012 - 12:01 am ETPark Place Dealerships set out to create a culture based on employee satisfaction when it bought a Plano, Texas, Jaguar store in 2010. Existing employees went through "insane training" while the company sought confident and passionate new hires. Today, a sense of empowerment is reflected in spot rewards and a "client-resolution process" that allows employees to spend hundreds of dollars without manager approval to make customers happy. It all helped Jaguar Plano earn the No. 1 spot on Automotive News' list of the Best Dealerships To Work For.
