Prism builds new plant and headquarters in Detroit area

DETROIT -- Prism Plastics has moved into its new factory and corporate headquarters in suburban Detroit, a $2.5 million complex in Chesterfield Township, Mich. The plant will house the company's finance and sales functions, plus 10 injection molding presses that will operate around the clock. The company has added 10 employees and will add eight more over the next year. Prism also has plants in Harlingen, Texas, and Port Huron, Mich. The company expects to generate sales of $22 million this year.
