Camouflaged spy photos of the freshened Mercedes-Benz E class due in the first half of 2013 have appeared here and elsewhere. But citing company sources, the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport describes changes hinted at in the photos.

The magazine says the E class is getting a rounder look. The front end is made over, adding a larger chrome grille, new air intakes and double headlights. The headlights on the current E class are separated by a panel. The rear will feature new lights with light strips and rear side windows with rounded lower edges.
