Eaton Corp. has named Patrick Randrianarison president of the vehicle group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He succeeds Nanda Kumar, who was named vice president of Eaton's Business Systems unit. Randrianarison is based in Turin, Italy, and reports to Ken Davis, president of Eaton's vehicle group.
Alea Leather Specialist Inc. has named Dennis Noonchester president. Previously Noonchester was president of Grant Product International. He has 25 years of experience in the automotive sector. Alea is a subsidiary of the Sunguard Group of Hong Kong. Automotive products include leather seat covers and headrest DVD monitors.
Alcoa has hired Michelle O'Neill as vice president of government affairs, effective Aug. 20. O'Neill previously was the U.S. Commerce Dept.'s deputy undersecretary of commerce for international trade.
Freescale Semiconductor has named Gregg Lowe president and CEO. Lowe previously worked for Texas Instruments, where he was senior vice president and manager of the analog business. He replaces Rich Beyer, who will remain on the board of directors to assist in the transition. Lowe had worked for Texas Instruments since 1984.
Commercial Vehicle Group Inc. named Dean Vomero vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Vomero also will oversee the company's continuous improvement programs, which includes supplier quality. Previously Vomero had been a managing director at Mesirow Financial Consulting and Bridge Associates. The Commercial Vehicle Group supplies components for cabs for Class 8 trucks, buses, farm equipment and construction equipment.
