The fifth generation of BMW's M3 will appear as a concept at the Geneva auto show in March, sources say. It will be the first M3 to be powered by a turbocharged engine, an inline six-cylinder.

The production version will be at the September 2013 Frankfurt show, and the next M3 should be ready for U.S. sales in winter of 2014. Production of the last version of the M3 ended last October.
