Ford Credit, citing tropical storm, allows Florida customers to delay payments

Ford Motor Credit Co. said today that will it allow Florida customers affected by Tropical Storm Debby to delay some car and truck payments.

As a part of the company's disaster relief program, eligible customers can delay one or two monthly payments until they are able to make a payment.

In addition to Ford Credit customers, the program also available to clients of Lincoln Automotive Financial Services, Jaguar Credit, Land Rover Capital, Mazda American Credit, PRIMUS and Volvo Car Finance.

The company said customers who qualify will be sent postcards with instructions on how to register for the relief program.
