Toyota prices 2013 Corolla at $17,025, announces other vehicles' pricing
DETROIT -- Toyota announced pricing for several 2013 models, with stickers on most models increasing -- including the Corolla, which saw a price increase of about 1.3 percent from the 2012 model.
The Corolla will start at $17,025 for the lowest trim level, including shipping, Toyota said in a statement on Friday. Across all trim levels, prices for the Corolla increased on average by about $239.
Pricing for the Corolla and the Scion iQ has already gone into effect. For the rest of the lineup, the new prices take effect in August.
The Matrix will start at $20,070, including shipping. The Matrix saw an average overall price increase of $521, or about 2.6 percent.
Prices for the 2013 Sienna start at $27,295 , including shipping. The 2013 Sienna price is $466 higher than last year's model, an increase of about 1.4 percent.
The Tacoma has a starting MSRP of $18,365, including shipping. The Tacoma's price rose about $150 or about 0.6 percent.
The Land Cruiser starts at about $79,100, including shipping, and increased by about $300 from 2012, a 0.4 percent change.
For Scion, the xD increased in price by $400, or about 2.6 percent. The xD will start at $16,500, including shipping.
The iQ will start at $16,140, including shipping. The iQ's price increased by $120, or 0.8 percent.
Part of the price increases for all the Toyota vehicles stemmed from a $35 hike in shipping charges. Scion vehicles' shipping charges increased by $25.
