GKN expands driveline parts plant in North Carolina

ROXBORO, N.C. -- GKN Driveline will spend $24 million to expand a factory in Roxboro, N.C. The project will create 131 new jobs, North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue said in a statement. The company will install additional tooling and expand its floor space.

GKN Driveline is part of supplier GKN Automotive, which ranks No. 45 on the Automotive News list of the top 100 global suppliers with estimated worldwide parts sales to automakers of $4.8 billion in 2011.
