Stanley Seneker


NAPLES, Fla. -- Former Ford Motor Co. CFO Stanley Seneker, who ran the company's financial affairs during a crucial turnaround period during the late 1980s and early 1990s, died June 28. He was 81.

Seneker held several financial positions during his long career with Ford. He began in 1957 as a cost analyst at Ford's San Jose, Calif., assembly plant.

Seneker later became executive vice president of Ford Motor Land Development and president of Ford Motor Credit Co. before taking the CFO job in 1987. During his seven years as CFO, he reported to three CEOs: Don Petersen, Harold "Red" Poling and Alex Trotman.

He retired in 1994.
