Toyota raises prices on some models

DETROIT -- Prices of some 2012 Toyota Prius, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Highlander Hybrid and Tacoma models, as well as the 2013 Scion tC sport coupe, will increase effective with May production, Toyota said today.

Tacoma models will rise the most at $250 across the board, bringing the new prices to between $17,935 and $28,895, including an $810 delivery fee.

The Prius v Two, Three and Five hybrids will increase $150 and will range from $27,310 to $30,900, including a $760 delivery fee.

Camry increases will range from $50 for the XLE model to $270 for the SE V-6 and XLE V-6 models. The basic Camry L will increase $100, to $22,815, including a $760 delivery fee. Camry’s most expensive model, the XLE V-6, will now cost $30,875, including the $760 delivery fee.

The Highlander Hybrid and its LTD counterpart will increase $175 each. Both models will have an $810 delivery fee, bringing their new prices to $39,525 for the Highlander Hybrid and $45,180 for the Highlander Hybrid LTD.

The Scion tC will increase $150. An automatic transmission version will now start at $20,455 while manual transmission will start at $19,455, both including a $730 delivery fee.
