The redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Impala is among the world debuts planned for next month's New York auto show. The redesigned car, seen here covered during testing, is based on General Motors' re-engineered front-wheel-drive Epsilon platform. That platform is shared with the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and 2013 Cadillac XTS. The new Impala is expected to have a more premium appearance and features that will help set it apart from the Malibu.
