Chrysler Group may have tried to inspire a nation with its "Halftime in America" Super Bowl commercial, but it also inspired the wags at "Saturday Night Live."

The variety show featured a series of spoofs of the two-minute spot on its Feb. 11 broadcast, with cast member Bill Hader portraying Chrysler's octogenarian frontman, Clint Eastwood.

The Oscar-winning actor and director's inspirational halftime speech is replaced by a series of profanity-laced diatribes criticizing those who said Chrysler's commercial was political and warning about "losing the game" to China and Mexico. With each subsequent parody of Chrysler's commercial, Hader's pants climb higher and higher up his torso until they are at chest level.

Unlike the real commercial, Hader's Eastwood does mention the company he's shilling for. In a nod to Eastwood's role in Gran Torino, set in Detroit, Hader growls into the camera: "'Get a Chrysler' and get off my damn lawn."
