Tenneco expands Georgia shock absorber plant

ATLANTA -- Tenneco Inc. will expand its factory in Hartwell, Ga., which produces shock absorbers and struts. The plant, which currently employs 750 full- and part-time workers, will add 350 workers.

Tenneco, which is based in Lake Forest, Ill., generates sales of $7.2 billion. The company employs 24,000 workers worldwide.
