Chrysler's Toledo manager promoted to lead N.A. manufacturing program

DETROIT -- The head of Chrysler Group's Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio has been promoted to lead the automaker's World Class Manufacturing program in North America.

Mauro Pino, manager at the Toledo complex since April 2010, began his new role Feb. 1, Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson said. Pino succeeds Massimo Risi, who now heads the automaker's global small SUV programs.

Zach Leroux, a longtime manager at the Toledo complex, succeeds Pino at the complex, which assembles the Jeep Wrangler and Liberty in two assembly plants.
