Bosch is thriving by supplying fuel-saving equipment to North American automakers, such as fuel-delivery parts for Ford Motor Co.'s EcoBoost engines. Poised for major growth are stop-start systems, radar-based active safety devices and turbochargers. Marks, 58, who leaves Bosch as year's end, posted an estimated 45 percent increase in sales to automakers here in 2010.
