Founder and president, Electrification Coalition
Chosen because: In 2009, Diamond launched the Electrification Coalition to support policies that promote widespread adoption of electric vehicles. The coalition is composed of business leaders and is nonpartisan and nonprofit. Diamond is also the founder of the group Securing America's Future Energy, which shares many members with the coalition. Diamond, 36, should know which doors to knock on in Washington. He is the former deputy director of community outreach for Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman's 2004 presidential campaign.
