Chosen because: After joining Azure Dynamics, Harrison led the charge to commercialize the company's hybrid electric and electric powertrain technology portfolio. Azure helped Ford introduce the Transit Connect EV in the United States. Harrison, 46, has led the company to record revenue and sales. He has expanded its product portfolio and the markets it serves. Azure Dynamics is focused on the medium-duty truck market in urban drive cycles -- a market that pays close attention to cost of ownership and can charge EVs at a central fleet lot.
