Chosen because: Lauer, 47, oversees DTE's vehicle-electrification initiatives, including its offer of reduced rates and $2,500 for each of up to 2,500 homeowners to pay for charging units and installation fees for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles such as the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf. DTE also co-sponsors the Business of Plugging In conference in Detroit.
