Chosen because: As head of the parent company of Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental, Taylor, 63, is positioned to expose mainstream car owners to electrified vehicles. In January, Enterprise became the first car-rental company to take delivery of a Nissan Leaf EV. It plans to put 500 Leafs into its fleet this year. Taylor also is active with the Electrification Coalition, a group lobbying for national policies supporting EVs and charging infrastructure.
