Infinti already is seeing benefits from its new marketing agreement with Formula One.

Reigning F1 drivers' champion Sebastian Vettel could not wait to get his hands on his complementary Infiniti FX50.

"He is living in Switzerland so we had to drive one up there ASAP," Infiniti Europe boss Jim Wright said.

Vettel, who drives for current constructors' champion Red Bull, received the high-performance SUV in the last week in February.

A few days later, the 24-year-old German took part in Infiniti's press conference at the Geneva auto show. Everyone knew he was going to say something positive, but the wide grin on his face proved that he meant it when he told the crowd how much he likes the power of the FX50's 390-hp 5.0-liter gasoline engine.
