Why did you want to work in the auto industry? Cars are exciting. My father was a GM diemaker in Pontiac for 39 years.

First automotive job: Worked as a co-op student in 1980 as a quality inspector in a Pontiac assembly plant where the Grand Prix was assembled.

Proudest professional achievement: What we've been able to accomplish as a team to position the company for the future.

Current challenge at work: Attracting, developing and retaining top talent.

What you do to relax: Being with my children, watching soccer and hockey.
