ReprintsNew BMW Financial COO is sales veteran
Wayne Orchowski, the incoming COO of BMW Group Financial Services Americas, is well-known to dealers.The 51-year-old Orchowski, currently vice president in charge of BMW of North America's 12-state Eastern region based in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., has spent most of his career in the company's sales organization.
His new assignment, effective Sept. 1, will include responsibility for the captive finance company's regional service center in Hilliard, Ohio, where most of its 1,000 employees are based.
Orchowski, who joined BMW in 1985, replaces Kerstin Zerbst, who moved to a new role at BMW headquarters in Munich. You can reach Jim Henry at autonews@crain.com.
