Chevy Cruze impresses some early drivers

The Volt may get the attention, but Cruze matters. In the last couple decades, GM had placemarkers in some segments; not bad cars, but not premium and some even behind the pack at release. Cruze goes head-to-head with anything in the compact segment, like every GM release in the last five years. I'm in a mostly-GM dealer group, and it's easier to sell great product than good value.
