Fiat, Chrysler to make more vehicles for each other

Taking this article at face value makes it harder to question Marchionne's dedication to Chrysler. The stroke of brilliance is utilizing the best Chrysler designed platforms for export to high end markets while retaining the lower labor costs of North American production capacity to build them. Also, ash-canning the mediocre Chrysler platforms in favor of Fiat designs with proven track records makes a lot of sense. It's nice to see a truly global approach being taken instead of token joint ventures with nationalistic fervor presiding over business decisions.
