Fiat Chairman Montezemolo to quit company, sources say

/article/20100420/ANE/100429996

I worked with FIAT in Italy and the USA in the late 1950's and early 1960's when European Automakers were really challenging the USA market. FIAT, their wide range of Land, Sea, and Air products, the Automakers surrounding the Turino area and the Agnelli family leadership were exciting. I have been waiting to see this excitment take hold with the new Chrysler affiliation. Sergio Marchionne's actions have pointed to this, and I think his move to seperate FIAT Automotive is the final touch. All Italian and USA citizens can get excited about this, as soon as FIAT-Chrysler starts exposing this image.
