I am pleased to hear GM has dropped the asinine plan to market Cadillac only where Lexus dealers are. Why cut off your nose to spite your face? That's what GM was doing with their former Mark LaNeve devised plan. Let the market place decide which dealers stay open or close. CEO Whitacre, I think, has finally figured out you can't sell more cars with fewer dealers, especially in rural areas where loyalty to American brands is stronger that in the cities.
