GM says Saab closing; no viable bid yet

So, both Whitacre and Lutz say Saab is being shut down. I said this last week and I will say it again. I am a Saab Dealer and I have not been notified by GM that Saab is being shut down. I guess the New GM way of doing business is to only communicate with Dealers through the media instead of talking directly with their Dealer network. With everything GM has done to destroy the Saab brand, you would think they would at least give us the respect to talk to us (the Dealers) directly. Our employees livelihoods are at stake and I can't even tell them whether Saab is going to be shut down, next week, next month or next year. We have been in limbo for over a year with little or no communication from GM. Mr. Whitacre, just make a damned decision on the brand and communicate your wind down plan directly with your Dealer Network so that we and our employees families can move on with our lives. You owe us at least that.
