GM sets expenses policy under government guidelines

Kills me, they come up with an expense managemnt system for travel, what about the cost of cars?? Material cost, engineering cost?

In addition, I have been hearing from GM executives for years about reducing structural expenses. What about generating revenue. I have heard nothing about their plan to sell cars at a profitable price.

At least Chrysler plans to outline targets over a period of time, thus being held accountable at every step of the way. Where is GM's plan, where are their targets, we the public have a right to know. After all, it is our money that has helped them to survive.
