GM pursues 3 million ‘free agents’ separated from automaker

Pursuing free agents is a top priority? Your dealer body grew the customers, moving them from used, to new. We helped the guest when the product was inferior, traded them out to keep them happy and often ate thousands in losses to do so. Now GM thinks they can BUY this loyalty and step in between. As long as we're chucking sports analogies around, you may want to interview people in Baltimore and see how many of them remained Colts fans after the shutdown and move. How many Rams fans are in L.A.? You may be able to buy some of these customers by throwing gobs of cash at them, but you will never have their loyalty. It is always surprising to see how clueless the manufacturers are.
