My dealerships have processed about 50 claims in this great program. We have found that the biggest impact the program will have is getting rid of unsafe vehicles that have been somehow operating on our roads. With regard to the processing, we were calling the "Help LIne" for assistance on determining where to have the Clunkers taken, and the person in the center would only respond "Just read the rules!" When we probed a little further, that person repeated "Just read the rules!" When we asked how come she would not provide a more clear answer, she said "Everything you need to know is in the rules. Just read them", and then terminated the call. We believe that this type of "help" is the reason why it is taking so long to be paid. Respectfully submitted, Robert J.
