Fiat to retain benefits for Chrysler's retirees

What this means is that the secretary who didn't earn very much will at least be able to retire. White collar middle and lower management who have to contribute to their health care in retirement are in no real better position now than they were pre-bankruptcy. These are the people who take the hardest hit no matter what. My father is a Ford Retiree from the lower management rung and that level always takes a hit. Their health care coverage has really slid. Makes me happy I retired out hourly.
